This is the storm door that Ressler Siding and Windows installed in my kitchen today. I did not buy the door from Ressler, nor did I intend on having them install it.

However, shortly after ordering the door elsewhere I ruptured my biceps tendon and had to have surgery resulting in me being down for 12 or so weeks. I called around to see who would help me get a door installed now that I was in no way going to be able to do it myself. I tried the other “big “ siding and window company also located in Mandan, and was told “no” almost as soon as I could ask the question.

When I called Ressler’s and explained the situation, they said “sure”, just call us when your door comes in and we’ll see where we can fit you in, which I did.

When I got the call that Ressler’s schedule had opened up and they could do the installation today, I told them that I needed a couple hours so I could make arrangements to borrow my dad’s truck and pick up the door still at the store. Not a problem, they said. Let’s see if we can just pick it up on the way to your house, which they could, and did.

Once here the installers discovered the reason my old storm door would warp out of shape 4 months of the year, a shoddy installation of the previous door and little foundation behind the brick molding for the door frame to actually attach to. They fixed it and installed the new door.

The installers spent way longer than planned to install a door I didn’t buy from them, to make sure it was done right, on a fixed bid, because I needed them to.

I can’t say enough about these guys and the company. It’s my first interaction with them but I’ve heard good things before. If you’re going to need windows, doors, siding, etc., I encourage you to give them a call.
